James Anderson began his role as Bursar at St George's in May 2020. Prior to this he was a senior Army officer in the British Army and joined the School with a wealth of leadership and management experience, both operationally and financially. A former military pilot he has a keen interest in developing high performing teams, strategic planning and safety systems. His wider career included positions in media and public relations, international relations, conceptual development and he has studied at the German Armed Forces Staff College in Hamburg and also taught senior managers at the UK Defence Staff College.
