Current Vacancies
Head of Learning Support

The Learning Support Department seeks to provide the best possible care for neurodiverse pupils and those who are suffering temporary setbacks. It aims to ensure that all pupils are able to fully participate in the broad, balanced and full curriculum on offer at St George’s, with high levels of expectation and participation. To that end we are seeking a Head of Learning Support to join our welcoming School for September 2024.

The successful candidate will hold the NASENCO qualification or have equivalent experience and should be an advocate for the needs of neurodiverse pupils.

St George’s Ascot operates its own generous salary scheme and all teaching staff will be auto enrolled in the APTIS pension scheme unless they opt out.

Additional Staff benefits include:

  • Staff swimming sessions and family swimming sessions in the recently built 25m, 6-lane indoor pool

Sous Chef

Required to start as soon as possible

 

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sous Chef to join our enthusiastic Catering Team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about producing quality food; someone who can work under pressure, be flexible in their approach to the role and with a positive work ethic.

The Sous Chef is employed throughout the year, working 40 hours per week on a rota basis but given the nature of the role, will be expected to work flexible hours. This will require the successful candidate to work early and late hours with some weekend working.

General Domestic Assistants (Various)

We have the following General Domestic Assistant vacancies available in our Domestic Services Team:

Vacancy 1 (Housekeeping)

The normal hours of work are:

6.00am to 2.00pm, Monday to Friday, 40 weeks per year.

Vacancy 2(Weekend - predominantly Catering)

The normal hours of work are:

Saturday 7.00am to 8.00pm and Sunday 10.00am to 8.00pm (each weekend that the Boarders are in School - approximately 27 weekends per academic year) 

For both vacancies, there will be a requirement to to work during the Summer Let period which occurs during July and early August.

The hourly rate for these roles is £11.44 and the post attracts 5.6 weeks of holiday pay, which is calculated at an average of weeks worked. The successful candidates will be auto-enrolled into the School’s Pension scheme if eligible.
