Boarding at St George’s is intentionally flexible. Some girls choose to full board while others will tailor their boarding to give them and their family the flexibility they need.
Full boarding is seven nights a week. Alternatively, our tailored boarding gives girls the option of four, five or six nights a week. You can choose the nights that fit best with any school activities or commitments and adapt your choices each term.
Tailored Boarding encourages girls to get the best out of school and home life, while enjoying continuity within the boarding community. This option is increasingly popular with our younger girls. A lot of our day pupils choose to board as they progress through the school.
Day girls are also able to board on an occasional basis, when accommodation available, for a fixed fee per night. Parents often choose this option if they are away or have evening commitments. Occasional boarding helps families to manage busy lives and gives girls a fantastic opportunity to get a taste of boarding life at St George’s.

Each weekend we have a full programme of sport and an exciting choice of boarding activities. There are no academic lessons on Saturdays.
A lot of our boarders are from the UK and many travel from Central London. St George's has the huge advantage of offering a broad curriculum, lots of space to enjoy and easy access from the City. We operate a weekly bus service from Kensington and Chiswick, departing from school on a Friday evening and returning on a Sunday evening, thus allowing London boarders to maximise their home time.
