Alex Wright graduated from Oxford University and completed a PGCE from the University of Bristol. He taught History and Politics, as well as being Head of Year, at the Royal Grammar School, Guildford, before moving on to be the Head of History, Politics and Sociology at the City of London Freemen's School where he was also Head of Sixth Form Careers. From 2007 until 2009 he completed a MA in Imperialism and Postcolonial Studies at Birkbeck College, London. Alex arrived at St George's in January 2016 as Assistant Head (Sixth Form) before taking on his current role as Deputy Head (Co-Curricular and Connections) in September 2018.
