St George’s School in Ascot is celebrating national award recognition after it was announced they are finalists in the forthcoming, prestigious Independent Schools of the Year 2023 awards.
The highly-regarded awards have been running for six years and this year saw hundreds of schools from across the UK submit entries into the award’s 23 different categories. The distinguished panel of judges were said to be ‘struck by the depth and breadth of the student experience provided by independent schools’ and particularly impressed by the ‘significant impact that schools make on their wider communities’.
Despite the tough competition, St George’s Ascot impressed the judges and are finalists in the Independent Girls' School of the Year category.
A list of all finalists chosen by an independent panel of expert judges can be viewed here, with overall winners subsequently announced at an awards ceremony in Central London in October.
