Peter read Law at Cambridge University before qualifying as a solicitor at Freshfields. He was a partner in the firm for over twenty years, specialising in mergers and acquisitions and working in both London and Singapore.  Peter is married to Caroline and has two sons and a daughter who is a St George’s alumna. Peter is a member of the Finance Committee at St George’s.
