Physics trip to UCL, London

Academic Trips

On Thursday 12 November St Georges’ Sixth Form Physicists made their way to Logan Hall at UCL in London to attend a series of exciting lectures on ‘Physics in Action.’ They covered a diverse range of topics, from the use of Physics in Medicine, to its role in natural disasters. There was also a lecture called ‘Stuff Matters’ and information on Smart Cities, thermometers, and exam success. The girls found this a stimulating excursion outside the classroom, adding a new dimension to what they have already learnt. They are very grateful to Miss Schmidt for accompanying them on this trip.
